This publishing workshop will educate authors on how to pursue traditional avenues through major publishing houses. Participants will include New York Times Best Selling author Wahida Clark and top executives from Simon and Schuster, Hatchette Book Group, Literary Works Agency, African American Literature Book Club, and Street Lit. Presented in partnership with Hatchette Books.

This event is FREE and open to the public.

Dancing with our Local Stars: A Benefit for the Victims of the Haiti Earthquake

Successfully Single, Inc. is hosting a benefit for the victims of the Haiti Earthquake, Dancing with our Local Stars on Saturday, March 13th from 7pm-Midnight at the San Marino Club. The activities of the night include dance competition with our Local Celebrities, dance showcase by professional dancers, and general dancing throughout the evening to live entertainment by Steve King & The Dittilies. A hors d'oeuvre buffet and cash bar will be available, as well as a slient auction. 100% of the proceeds from the auction will go to the American Red Cross to support its Disaster Relief Fund. Lastly, you will also get the opportunity to "Dance with the Stars"
